Maaaaan yo...When I first started the Tru-ID podcast I didn’t really know much about recording. As a result there are any mover of interviews that I recorded some time ago that required some editing and fairly recently I’ve been able to go back and clean them up. With that said I’m excited to finally be able to share this interview with a dynamic individual who was actually one of my first guests, Dr. Vince Bantu. Dr. Bantu is a brilliant Brother and as I restored the audio and sat back to listen to this interview it really brought me back to why I started the Tru-ID Podcast. I know you guys will enjoy this dialogue so be on the lookout for this episode dropping tomorrow morning. Matta fact I’m so hype about this one I might mess around and drop it on y’all later today...
Key Topics:
-Ancient African Christianity
-Social justice and seminary education
-Real racial reconciliation
-Dr. Bantu basically drop barz on several interesting topics

J.Warner Wallace is an internationally known Christian apologist and author of several books such as Cold Case Christianity, God's Crime Scene, and his most recent work Forensic Faith. J. Warner Wallace has a unique approach to apologetics that flows from his professional background as a cold case homicide detective. In fact my listeners may recognize J. Warner Wallace from his role as a testifying detective in the movie God's Not Dead 2.
In this episode Scott Lane and J Warner chop it up about how he applied his skillset from being a cold case homicide detective to investigate the historical evidence for the life of Jesus and the Christian worldview.
Also, given his background in law enforcement I couldn't help but strike a dialogue with him on the issue of police misconduct and the criminal justice system. J Warner's perspective on this will likely surprise a lot of my Tru-ID family out there....
Key Points:
Journey from atheist homicide detective to believer in Christ
Historical evidence for Jesus and the Gospels
How does apologetics fit in with evangelism
Forensic Faith
J Warner's take on police conduct, interaction between the Criminal Justice system and the black community, and solutions
